Hands-on learning, live
Robots now learn to work by watching people. Pasovio points the same technology at you. Your camera follows your hands, the next step appears on the real object, and mistakes get caught while you make them.
Pasovio comes from paso (Spanish for step) and vision. See the next step.
Real recording, real app. Every ring, label and arrow is drawn by Pasovio from the camera feed.
Augmented reality, on the real object
Same knot, two attempts. On the left the blue end goes under and the knot comes out right. On the right it goes over, and the rope pulls into a twist instead of a knot. Pasovio tracks the rope ends, rings the loop, puts Under, not over right where your hand needs to go, and when the twist happens it says exactly what went wrong.
The working end, the standing part and the loop, live, even with hands in the way.
Rings, targets and arrows land on the rope itself, not on a diagram beside it.
A step only counts when the camera sees it done. The finished knot gets a final check.
Every lesson, step by step
Each step says what to do and exactly what the coach looks for, plus the mistakes people actually make. Here is the bunny-ears shoelace lesson, written so a parent can coach a kid through it.
Tie shoelaces · bunny ears
Illustrated walkthrough of a real lesson. In the app, the coach reads your camera.
How it works
A tutorial can't see that your loop is a twist or that one bunny ear is twice the size of the other. Pasovio compares each step with what the camera actually sees, and you move on when the step is really done.
"Tie my tent rope to a stake." "Teach my kid to tie shoes." Pasovio picks the right lesson, or writes one for any hands-on task.
Point it at your hands and the work. Rings, arrows and highlights land on the real object, and a short voice line tells you what to do.
The coach watches for the common mistakes, tells you how to fix them, and checks the finished result.
What you can learn
From the overhand stopper to the bowline, taut-line hitch and clove hitch. Camping, boating and climbing basics.
Build a fire lay, carve a featherstick, rig a tarp ridgeline. Practice in the backyard before the trip.
Want something else? Describe it and Pasovio drafts the lesson.
Private by design
Lessons made for kids run in private mode: camera frames stay on your own device and never go to a cloud AI. Nothing is recorded unless you choose to record, and your recordings stay yours.
What's next
Private beta on phones, starting November 2026.
Smart glasses: guidance floating on the real object, seen from your own eyes, with both hands free.
The coaching engine is planned as open source, so anyone can build lessons and tools on it.
